Kristen began dance at the age of 3 at Tammy Jo's studio. At TJS she was trained in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, ballet, hip hop, tap, pointe, musical theater, and pom. At age 9 she began competing with the river cities dance company. While competing, Kristen received the river cities dance company scholarship, won many regional and national titles, and also performed as the sugar plum fairy in the production of the nutcracker. She was also a member of the 2010-2014 national champion Russell high school dance team and Russell high school officer line. Kristen continued dancing at the University of Kentucky for 4 years as a member of the varsity dance team, competition pom and hip hop teams, and as part of the chosen 2017 USA dance team. 

While at the University of Kentucky Kristen studied and received a bachelors degree in kinesiology.


She is currently studying at Shawnee state university to receive her masters in occupational therapy.
